Live Win Streak Leaderboard in Lobby
What's Happening
A large in-world screen in the main lobby displays a "Win Streaks - LIVE" leaderboard showing the top 5 players by current win streak, with fire icons scaling by streak count. Player names, avatars, and streak numbers are all visible to everyone in the lobby. The board updates in real-time — you can watch streaks climb or players drop off. It's physically placed right where players stand before hitting "Play," making it impossible to ignore while waiting to queue.
Why It Works
Placing the leaderboard in the physical lobby space — not buried in a menu — means every player absorbs the competitive hierarchy passively. It creates aspirational pressure ("I want my name up there") and social proof ("this game has skilled players worth competing against"). The LIVE tag and fire animations make it feel urgent and dynamic, turning the lobby from dead time into motivation time.
