Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Playbook (“the Service”), operated by Whimco LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Playbook is a community-contributed design pattern library for Roblox games. Users can browse, submit, and discuss game design patterns including screenshots, video clips, and written analysis of mechanics found in live games.

3. User Accounts

You may sign in using Discord or Roblox OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Content License

By submitting content (screenshots, clips, descriptions, analysis), you grant Whimco LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from all submitted content, including for commercial purposes. You retain the right to share your own submissions elsewhere.

5. Fair Use

Screenshots and clips of game interfaces are submitted for commentary, criticism, and educational purposes under fair use. Contributors do not claim ownership of the underlying game mechanics, only their documentation and analysis of them.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is misleading, spam, or off-topic
• Upload malicious files or content that violates others\x27 rights
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content without permission
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

7. Moderation

Whimco LLC reserves the right to remove, edit, or recategorize any submission at our discretion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Data Usage

Aggregated and anonymized submission data may be used in Whimco\x27s other products and services. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal information.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Whimco LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
