Tiered Rank Rewards with Visible Unlock Path
What's Happening
Players earn stars by completing tasks (hatch 10 eggs, hatch 13 eggs) which fill a progress track of 9 rewards per rank. Each reward slot shows exactly what you'll get — items, boosts, pets — with numbered slots progressing left to right. Completed slots show "Claim!", in-progress slots show star progress (0/1), and future slots show "Locked." Higher ranks (Rank 2, 5) are visible but locked behind star gates, and the current rank has a label ("Noob") that signals where you are in the hierarchy. A premium "2x Stars" booster is prominently placed at the top.
Why It Works
The numbered grid makes progress feel tangible and finite — you're not grinding an abstract XP bar, you're filling 9 specific boxes with visible rewards. Showing locked future ranks creates aspiration without overwhelming. The rank label ("Noob") is deliberately provocative — nobody wants to stay a Noob, which creates internal pressure to rank up. The 2x Stars booster sits right where your eyes land, converting impatient players into spenders at the exact moment they feel the grind.
