Class Selection with Unique Loadouts and Gifting
What's Happening
Before each round, players choose from a long scrollable list of classes — Santa, Krampus, Doctor, Miner, Musician, Arsonist, Packmaster, Necromancer, and more. Each class has a unique description, starting items, and special ability (e.g., Arsonist deals double fire damage, spawns with molotovs, immune to fire). "None" is the free default, all others cost 20 Bonds (in-game currency). A "Gift" button lets you buy a class for another player. The class preview shows your character in a small room with the description panel on the right.
Why It Works
The long class list creates collection drive — players want to try every playstyle and find "their" class. Locking classes behind currency but showing all of them upfront turns the menu into a shop window. The Gift button is clever — it creates social monetization pressure ("my friend bought me Arsonist, I should buy them one back") and spreads class adoption virally through friend groups. Each class fundamentally changes gameplay, so the purchase feels meaningful, not cosmetic.
